Today the solicits went out for Captain Marvel # 17, a special 40-page oversize issue!
This issue is meant to be a celebration of all things Captain Marvel, so I knew from the start that the Carol Corps needed to make an appearance on the cover. It's rare that you find so much raw enthusiasm for a comic book character. It's been fantastic to see men,women and children alike adorned in Carol wear online and at conventions. It's a testament to the house that Kelly Sue, Steve Wacker and Sana Amanat built.
I think of this cover as a thank you for that support.
