The above image is one of several one-page origin stories Marvel decided to put out in a single issue this week called "Origins of Marvel Comics #1" (I assume that means there will be a #2). It showcases a laundry list of comic pros (Stuart Immonen, John Romita Jr., Esad Ribic, etc.) illustrating the origin stories of some of Marvel's most famous characters. I was asked to draw the one for Black Cat, written by Fred Van Lente. It was a lot of fun to draw the character- hopefully I'll get to do it again soon.
