Portland: There and back again

So I"m back from Portland and the 'Stumptown Comic's Fest' there, and am now rarin' to get the blog posts a flowin.' Both the convention and the trip in general were, I must admit, totally rad. I made a lot of great connections, met a bunch of cool people and sold a great deal of my wares at Stumptown, which was exciting. Maris, Liz, and I flew out together to Portland, and shared a table at the con, with assistance from our pal Dave.
Here's Liz, Maris and I at our table:

And a closer look at my booty...(that came out wrong)

I did also get some drawing done. Here's a quick commission I did of the character 'Death' from Neil Gaiman's 'Sandman.'

All in all, we had a lot of fun hanging out around Portland. We finally got to sample the infamous Voodoo Doughnuts (the 'No-Name'rules) and hit up some other great eateries, including 'Le Montage' (a great Cajun Bistro, with an amazing spicy mac n' cheese dish), and 'The Doug Fir,' which was conveniently attached to the hotel we were staying at. We also had the distinct pleasure of hanging out with some very cool folk from Stumptown, as well as a long lost pal from my high school days.
She's pictured here along with Dave, Liz, Maris and I.

Can you find Maris...?

Okay, that's about all I got. Head on over to Maris' blog, if you'd like to hear more about our Portland exploits/see some cool drawings. Word.

Hey Joe,
It's Harrison from CRCAP. I happened upon your blog a little while ago and I check in on it every now and then--it's great stuff. I was wondering if I could purchase a t-shirt of yours sometime perhaps near camp time? Hope all is well.
